Players lead a small army of Space Marine Terminators in a fight for survival against hordes of predatory alien Genestealers. Space Hulk is set in the isolated corridors and tomb-like chambers of an ancient vessel lost in the graveyard of space. Multiplayer mode allows players to go head-to-head as the Space Marines and the Genestealers in a fight for domination. There’s a grassroots feel to Space Hulk: Deathwing Enhanced Edition as is the case for most of the games based on Games Workshop’s perennially popular Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game. Based on the "Sin of Damnation" campaign from the 3rd-edition of the board game, Space Hulk includes a 12-mission single-player and co-operative campaign. From a gameplay perspective, what it does it does in better form than Warhammer 40k. Players will also eventually unlock new powers and get access to more powerful weapons.ĭeathwing is in contrast to the previously-released Space Hulk game. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised by Space Hulk: Deathwing.

The switch to FPS is a bit surprising, considering the previous Space Hulk game was a turn-based tactics game and the board game as a whole is known for its strategy. Space Hulk: Deathwing is a first-person shooter video game developed by Streum On Studio with assistance from Cyanide and published by Focus Home Interactive. Expanding upon the original game, and featuring a host of new content, new features and a richer multiplayer mode. Titled Space Hulk: Deathwing, the game will be an FPS based on the Space Hulk board game. Space Hulk: Deathwing - Enhanced Edition is a First-Person Shooter based on Games Workshop’s cult classic board game set in Warhammer 40,000 universe.
